This year is looking quite different when it comes to school. Kids and families are missing out on a lot, including school portraits! I’ve decided to offer back to school mini sessions from my home studio. I know these may not be your usual school photos, but would be it be 2020 if we stuck to the ordinary? I just don’t think that would be fitting! Session and booking details can be found at the end of this post.

With this tear being so unique, children are having to adjust to a new way of learning, and parents and teachers are working so hard to make everything work. Although we are all facing challenges this year, it is another school year after all. Another year older, a new grade with new material and milestones for our children achieve… in my eyes, it’s worth documenting all the growing up they did between this year and last.

Last week I hand painted this backdrop to create a little bit of an “at school” theme. The old fashioned desk and simple props, like paper airplanes, make for a fun addition to your traditional school photos. Next year, hopefully when we are all back in school, it will be fun to look back on these memories from the previous year!

The Details –

True minis are normally $125 and products are purchased separately from a 3 image gallery. For this special, I am including 2 high resolution digitals in that session price. Sessions will be 10 minutes long and will result in 3+ images to choose from. I can accommodate 2 siblings in one session time, just know that the 2 included images will be shared between them. For families with more than 2 siblings, please book back to back times. Times are spaced out to allow cleaning between clients. Please stick to your time slot so I can provide a safe environment for all.
