Styled Stock Photography for your shop, featuring Creative Party Designs on Etsy!
Have you been thinking of creating a clean, uniform look to your etsy shop but don’t know where to begin? Why not try styled stock photography? I love to see how simply a Styled Stock Photo or two can really bring the look of a shop together.
Here is an example from one of my favorite shops, Creative Party Designs. It’s also run by probably the nicest shop owner I know! You should really check out her shop if you are looking for invitations, holiday cards, photo cards, wall art etc! You name it, if it’s a custom party design printable you’re looking for, she’s got it. With this lovely shop owner, I’m sure you will get the best customer service around too!
Let’s take a look at how awesome her holiday collection is looking, shall we? In this case, the shop owner purchased two (thank you!!) of my Silver & Gold designs… have I mentioned Silver & Gold is my fave this year? What I love about the photos she chose, is the designs are so clean and simple that they don’t detract from her product. On the contrary, they add a festive touch while the white background really lets her card designs pop! Her cards are most certainly the focal point and highlight of each of these listings.
Now let’s take a closer look at two of her designs, on two different backgrounds. All she had to do here was use her favorite photo editing software, layer her design over the Styled Stock Photo, position and size her design to look just right in the frame, add a subtle drop shadow for a realistic look and viola! There you have it, a gorgeous new photo for your listing that will really stand out from the crowd!
I love how the silver and gold here ties into her beautiful card designs. Can’t you just see your family photo being displayed on one of these cards so nicely!?
